Located in Ourimbah you will find the delightful Bill Sohier park playground; cleverly designed to accommodate a range of ages you will find different play equipment here for both younger and older children. So if you are meeting a group here with mixed ages then you can be assured that everyone will have play equipment to keep them occupied.
For younger children there is a short slide and a tunnel to crawl through, 2 baby seat swings and Dinosaur bone sculptures to explore amongst.
For older children there is a climbing net, a round swing, 2 normal swings and a flying fox that runs slow enough for those old enough to hold on tight to enjoy the fun.
There is a footpath suitable for toddler / pre-schooler bikes to zoom around within the playground equipment.
When it is time to stop for a snack break or perhaps a picnic lunch you will find a covered picnic shelter, with four tables, big enough for multiple groups to share or alternatively there is open space beside the park if you want to sit and enjoy a picnic on the grass.
The playground is not fully fenced but there is a fence edging the sides of the park where the road runs.
To extend your visit to this area or if you have older children that really want to stretch their legs, the oval across the road from the park would be a great place to play a game of sport or perhaps you could hire a tennis court.
There are no public toilets located on site but they are located a short distance walk.
There is no water here so make sure you fill up your drink bottles before heading to the park for a play.
