No visit to the beautiful location of Norah Head would be complete until you have stopped in to enjoy the offerings of the delightful Ark Cafe.
With the Bush Street reserve opposite, the café has a relaxing outlook and makes the most of this with outdoor seating and beanbags. Inside you will find an open, breezy café set up with ample seating (some with longer tables) and plenty of room to move around. On weekends you can soak up the the live music on offer while sipping your coffee or tucking into a meal.
Open daily from 8am – 5pm, the menu here has lots of variety with all day breakfast, salads, light meals, burgers / wraps and a selection of hot and cold drinks. Specials feature daily, whilst the display cabinet beside the till houses homemade cakes, pies, sausage rolls and sweet treats, all of which looked very tempting when we visited. We ordered a wrap each and left feeling delightfully full and happy.
For the kids
If you have kids with you, the small kids corner will keep them amused, with a blackboard, toy box and TV. Highchairs are available for use and several of the tables appeared to be spacious enough to squeeze your pram nearby. Or if you prefer take a seat outside to enjoy the fresh air and give the kids plenty of space to move around.
