Cake and Plate Desert Bar and Retail Emporium have created a chic set up celebrating their passion for all things cake. A passion which they love to share with the local community and which you can experience first hand during a visit here to enjoy their range of cupcakes and other sweet treats.
Seating for customers is available at a few tables inside but mostly set up outside undercover with a few spots in the sunshine to warm you up in the cooler months. Highchairs are available for the younger customers and there is ample space to move around if you have children with you.
We enjoyed a coffee and cupcake served lovingly on old-fashioned china. The cupcake was delicious and just the right size for a sweet treat, but without leaving you feeling sickly from a sugar overdose!
Our Central Coast Weekender pre-schoolers tried out the kids milkshakes ($3.50 each) served in cute glass bottles with a marshmallow on the side and a beautifully decorated cookie from the locally made Flyaway Pineapple Creative Cookies. There was but crumbs left when we had finished.
We secretly hoped the kids would be keen on the “create your own” cupcake plate, with decorations and icing to make your own masterpiece. For $4.50 each this sounds like a great way to add some more fun to your visit to Cake and Plate. We will have to try this next time!
