Spring 2015 saw a bright idea brought to life with the creation of a new local website, Central Coast Weekender.
The intention was to create a fresh, easy to read site, to share our adventures and encourage both locals and visitors to the Central Coast to get out and explore new places. We feel that we have made a great start towards achieving this goal!
Looking back over the past twelve months we have published over fifty posts highlighting our adventures across the Central Coast; profiling cafes, swimming spots, bushwalks, playgrounds, markets, community events and fantastic attractions.
Top of the list with the most clicks across the year was Fur and Feathers Fun Park. In the grounds of Narara Valley Nursery and open Thursday – Sunday 10:00 – 3:30pm, you can read more information on our profile here. Fur and Feathers provides opportunity for children to see animals up close in a cosy and low key environment and for only a small charge.
Our second ranked post was for Tommy’s Cafe located near the Gosford waterfront. You can read our profile here or check out more information on facebook. Have you visited yet? If not then add Tommy’s to your list of new places to try for coffee or a meal on the coast.
Finally, Clip ‘n’ Climb located within Central Coast Leagues Club had the third highest number of views. This climbing gym offers a fun and varied introduction to rock climbing in a safe indoor environment. Our profile here gives an overview of what it is all about. Our crew have visited several times since it’s opening in November 2015 and always leave asking when we are able to return!
We can’t wait to share another twelve months of adventuring with you all and together we have compiled a bucket list for the next 12 months.
We would love you to follow along with our adventures on instagram @centralcoastweekender or facebook
Thanks for reading and sharing in our love for the beautiful Central Coast of NSW. We are so fortunate to call it our home.
